Sarah Hill is an emerging contemporary artist based in the Macleay Valley of NSW. Sarah draws inspiration from her environment, translating memories of place and flora through a whimsical gaze. Her art is an intertwining of memory and imagination that captures the subject matters essence in unique imagery.
Describing her practice as finding a synchronicity between our surrounds and ourselves, Sarah searches for the rhythm, balance and wonder found in both.
Working primarily with acrylic paint, she is driven by an intuitive process and layers vibrant colour and texture which is then complemented with complex line work.
